Florida-based Crescent Heights is proposing an 800-unit condo project in DTLA on a parcel it acquired for $11.5 million last year. A 714-foot tall tower is envisioned to rise on the half-acre development site at 1045 S. Olive St. in South Park.
Plans filed with the city are for a high-rise that would be one of the tallest buildings in SoCal. The project is envisioned as a mixed-use development that would include ground floor commercial and amenity space.
The site is in an area undergoing significant transformation, including several new residential developments. It is also located along the route of the 3.8-mile Downtown Streetcar slated to loop through the heart of DTLA.
