Crescent Communities Breaks Ground on Spec Office Project in Charlotte

Real estate investor, developer and operator Crescent Communities has broken ground on Elizabeth on Seventh, a retail and speculative office project in Charlotte.

Located at the intersection of East 7th Street and North Caswell Road in Charlotte’s Elizabeth neighborhood, the mixed-use project is walkable to more than 40 retailers and restaurants. The speculative office component of Elizabeth on Seventh poses an opportunity for tenants to design a space that accommodates unique demands, such as shifting needs around health, wellness and safety in the face of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“The Elizabeth on Seventh project incorporates the latest health and wellness specifications that the market will require in a post-COVID world,” said Brendan Pierce, senior managing director at Crescent Communities. “The modern building, coupled with walkable amenities in a dynamic neighborhood, will be a competitive advantage for companies seeking to recruit and retain superior talent.”
