Cresa’s Pirot Oversees “Forward-Thinking” Build-out for Fragomen

Cresa’s James A. Pirot and his team have coordinated the build-out of the new 107,000-square-foot offices at Empire State Realty Trust’s 1400 Broadway for Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy LLP. The law firm committed to the space in September 2017.

Located on three contiguous floors, the Fragomen space is characterized by multiple workspace elements that include collaboration rooms, huddle spaces, phone rooms, wellness rooms and shared café spaces. It also utilizes Power over Ethernet (PoE) lighting, along with energy management and sustainability controls for the HVAC and electrical systems.

“Fragomen’s forward-thinking leadership enabled the design and construction teams to effectively collaborate on the infrastructure, technology, and aesthetics to produce a truly balanced work environment,” said Pirot (pictured). “Building owner ESRT, which is also recognized as a forward-thinking owner/operator, was a positive advocate for the project’s PoE initiative from day one, helping to expedite the entire design and construction process.”
