Cresa Adds Gregg Cohen as NYC Principal

Cresa added Gregg Cohen as a principal in the New York office. He was previously a tenant representative at Norman Bobrow & Co.

Cohen’s experience also spans two decades in executive positions at Northern Trust, Jefferies & Co., and Bear Stearns, among others. In addition, he was the managing partner of Aviate Global US, which was acquired by Northern Trust in 2016.

“Gregg understands clients’ needs because of his own extensive background as a business owner,” said Peter Sabesan, managing principal, Cresa. “He has firsthand experience in office searches and working with brokers in negotiating leases, which gives him a unique perspective as both consultant and tenant.”

In his previous position, Cohen (pictured) negotiated subleases and direct leases, renewals and lease terminations, and also represented buyers in the purchase of commercial condominiums. More recently, he developed a proprietary product that boasts a readership exceeding 1,200 visitors monthly.
