Creative Talent Summit to Tackle Post-COVID Issues

Between December 2019 and December 2020, Los Angeles County employment decreased by 419,100 jobs, including more than 372,000 jobs in the film and digital media sector. The film, television and digital media industries are crucial to Los Angeles County’s identity and economy, and will be integral in its economic recovery during and after the COVID-19 crisis.

The LA2021 Future of Creative Talent Summit Series will be held across two virtual summits throughout 2021, tackling the pertinent questions for the film, TV and digital media industries as society emerges from the pandemic and pivots towards creating a sustainable, diverse and equitable entertainment workforce. The first Summit will take place via The Virtual Show on April 21 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and is sponsored by Beacon Economics.

Mayor Eric Garcetti and State Senator Ben Allen will be featured speakers.
