Creative Space Trend Extends to Industrial
Encinitas, CA-based RAF Pacifica Group unveiled plans for cre•ate, a 144,461-square-foot corporate HQ facility situated on 9.7 acres in Carlsbad, CA. The industrial project is the firm’s seventh ground-up spec development in the San Diego County.
RAF Pacifica’s Adam Robinson says, “Today’s industrial users are demanding the same high-quality, creative environments as their office counterparts, with high-tech amenities and indoor/outdoor gathering areas that cultivate collaboration and drive innovation.
The project is slated to break ground in Q2 2017. Cre•ate will feature a creative office aesthetic including extensive glass for natural lighting, bi-fold vertical glass doors, modern landscaping, and outdoor amenity areas to cultivate a live/work/play environment.
Colliers International’s Mike Erwin and Tucker Hohenstein represented RAF Pacifica in the $8.8-million site acquisition. Colliers’ Ted Cuthbert represented the seller, Carlsbad Oaks North Partners, LP.
