Creative Agency Steps Up to Long-Term Lease at River North Offices
Colliers Chicago EVP Dougal Jeppe has arranged a 19,681-square-foot direct lease on behalf of The Motion Agency at Freedman Properties’ Reid Murdoch Building, located at 325 N. LaSalle Dr. in downtown Chicago’s River North neighborhood. The creative communications agency, which serves a variety of clients in brand strategy, creative, public relations and digital services, had been a subtenant in the space since summer 2018.
Built in 1913, the Redi Murdoch building is a 325,000-square-foot office building a short walk from the Loop, Merchandise Mart and Michigan Avenue. Its river views, central location in one of the city’s trendiest neighborhoods, and many common spaces for employees to collaborate and connect, served as the main drivers for Motion’s long-term lease commitment.
Jeppe secured compelling economics on the deal in addition to several unique company perks that will aid in employee retention.
