CRE Veteran Joins Echo Real Estate Capital as Principal
Oliver Plotkin has joined Chicago-based Echo Real Estate Capital, Inc., as a principal. He will be responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities and financing, project management, leasing and supporting other members of the Echo team in various facets of the acquisition and development process.
“This is an opportunity for me to bring my experience and relationships to an established platform with a national reach,” said Plotkin. “Echo’s investment activity in the healthcare and industrial sectors, as well as select retail projects, are a perfect fit and I look forward to contributing to their continued growth.”
Prior to joining Echo, Plotkin served as founder and principal for OP Realty, Inc. where, among other projects, he assisted a national optical retailer grow to more than 80 locations in roughly eight months. Additionally, his efforts were focused on acquiring infill retail and mixed-use properties.
