CRE Leaders Share Best Retail Property Practices on Coronavirus Safety (WEBINAR)

In response to the global emergency caused by COVID-19, Connect Commercial Real Estate hosted a webinar with commercial real estate leaders. Retail leaders were part of the discussion that seeks to promote the exchange of reliable information along with best practices.

You can listen to the 40-minute webinar on the impact of COVID-19 moderated by Daniel Ceniceros, CEO of Connect CRE below.

Colliers International’s Anjee Solanki, national director retail services USA, noted it is key to over communicate with retailers to make sure accurate information is getting into their hands pertaining to COVID-19 protections. She said properties also need to be prepared to escalate measures such as tapping into restoration experts who can bring a higher level of cleaning products and services if needed.

Madison Marquette’s Drew Genova, chief asset services officer, says retail owners are wise to stay on top of new guidelines being issued and updated on a frequent basis by authorities pertaining to the number of people allowed to gather or recommended social distancing practices, as well as cleaning protocols to help keep shoppers as safe as possible as the emergency evolves.
