Crate & Barrel Comes to Flatiron District for Flagship Location

Crate & Barrel has leased retail space at 881 Broadway in the Flatiron District for a new flagship store. CBRE’s Kristen Crossman and David LaPierre represented Crate & Barrel. The property’s ownership, the Winter Organization, was represented by Ariel Schuster, Jackie Totolo and Michael Paster of Newmark Retail.

“It was a privilege advising Crate & Barrel in landing their new NYC flagship in the Flatiron submarket,’ said Crossman. “Finding the right home to replace their iconic SoHo flagship was challenging but through extensive strategic analysis it became clear that Flatiron, NYC’s increasingly dense furniture market, is the right home for Crate & Barrel.”

LaPierre added, “The Crate & Barrel team was phenomenal to work with throughout this deal process. From cultivating strategy to procuring the right site opportunity, we were met with many hurdles along the way but feel so fortunate to have had such amazing partners in our client. This deal wouldn’t have been possible without their incredible team.”
