CPA Association Trades Spaces on Sixth Ave.

The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants will move up the street in October from its current New York office at 1211 Ave. of the Americas. The group, which represents more than 650,000 CPAs and students worldwide, has signed a 29,827-square-foot lease at Fisher Brothers’ 1345 Ave. of the Americas.

“We are thrilled that we could accommodate AICPA for its seven-block journey up Sixth Avenue,” said Fisher Brothers partner Winston Fisher.

Along with a desire to remain in the “premier office destination” that is the Sixth Avenue corridor, AICPA was drawn to 1345 “for its transformed lobby and entrance, reimagined outdoor plaza and planned amenity center,” he added. The property is in the final stages of a $65-million capital improvement program.

JLL’s Ken Patton, Tucker Farman and Ellen Herman represented AICPA. Fisher Brothers was represented in-house by Marc Packman and Clark Briffel, and by JLL’s Cynthia Wasserberger and Betsy Buckley.
