Coworking Firm The Malin Set to Launch First San Francisco Location

New York City-based coworking company The Malin has committed to its first San Francisco location, signing a lease for 13,500 square feet at 100 Sansome St. The company plans to open its ground-floor space in late 2026.

The Malin San Francisco will feature 11 private offices, 12 dedicated desks, 5 meeting rooms, 9 phone booths, a library and a kitchen. Its location at 100 Sansome, the historic Adam Grant building in San Francisco’s Financial District, will provide members with easy access to Jackson Square, SoMa, Union Square and the waterfront.

Developed in partnership with Deka Immobilien Investment GmbH, the expansion brings The Malin’s total footprint to 284,000 square feet nationally, joining locations in New York, Austin, Savannah, Nashville, Boston, and Washington, DC. The San Francisco expansion complements The Malin’s success with venture capital and tech-focused members on the East Coast and in Southern states by providing an opportunity to engage the city’s growing concentration of technology and AI companies, the company said.
