Coworking Company Kiln Opening First Washington Location in Seattle

Kiln, a Utah-based coworking company, has signed a lease for its first Washington location with plans to open it in Seattle.

The new location will be in a 32,276-square-foot space at Fremont Lake Union Center, at 837 N. 34th St. Other tenants in the complex include an Amazon One Medical Clinic, Salesforce and Nvidia, which signed a lease last spring. Owned by Kilroy Real Estate, Freemont Lake Union Center Fremont Lake Union Center is a three building complex situated on a campus spanning more than 418,000 square feet.

Kiln was founded in 2017 and now operates in several Western states, including Arizona, Colorado, California, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Nevada and Texas. Late last year, the company said it would open several new locations across the United States in 2026. Based in Salt Lake City, Kiln will have 25 locations by the time Seattle opens. The company also has locations in Portland and Bend, Oregon.
