Covered Land Play Opportunity Comes to Market in Norwood

Cushman & Wakefield has been retained to market for sale 3083 Webster Ave., an 84,000-square-foot development site in the Norwood section of the Bronx. Currently, the site is functioning as a Shell gas station on a triple-net lease that expires in September 2021.

“This site represents a rare opportunity to acquire a covered land play for a scalable development in the future,” said Jonathan Squires of Cushman & Wakefield, “Its location in an inclusionary housing zone should further incentivize potential investors.”

Squires and his colleagues, Michael Fioravanti, Josh Neustadter, Addison Berniker and Shayne Soltan, will be leading the marketing efforts on behalf of the property’s seller. An asking price wasn’t disclosed.

The property is located within walking distance of the 205th Street Subway Station, which is serviced by the D train. The site also benefits from numerous bus lines canvassing the neighborhood, and is minutes from Fordham University’s campus.
