Counseling in Schools Renews Lease at 505 Eighth Ave

GFP Real Estate has announced that Counseling In Schools, a non-profit organization supporting the emotional and social well-being of New York City school communities, has extended its lease at 505 Eighth Ave in Midtown. The organization signed a seven-year lease for its existing 2,457-square-foot space on the 13th floor.

The terms of the transaction were undisclosed, but asking rents at the building start in the low $40s-per-square-foot range. Allen Gurevich of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord, while Lisa Ann Pollakowski of Lee & Associates represented the tenant.

“Counseling In Schools is one of the most important organizations serving the New York City school system today,” said Gurevich. “We are thrilled to see the non-profit extend its lease at 505 Eighth Ave., which offers a centralized, convenient location for its staff citywide.”
