Couch Potatoes Not Lazy with Expansion, Takes Space at Interchange East
Couch Potatoes, one of Austin’s largest, locally-owned furniture stores, increased its storage space, thanks to a new 49,600-square-foot industrial lease. The company inked the deal with GLP for square footage at Interchange East, at 845 Interchange Blvd., on the metro’s southeast side.
JLL’s Zane Cole represented the furniture company in the lease negotiation. Ace Schlameus, also with JLL, negotiated on behalf of the landlord.
“Interchange East provides the right blend of space, access and proximity to Couch Potatoes’ growing client base, which makes it a great fit for them,” Schlameus said. “This new lease puts them in a great position for future growth, and allows them to get their product to customers quickly, safely and efficiently.”
The tenant operates four retail locations in the Austin metro.
