Cotswold Village Flips for $110M, Revamp on Way
Site Centers has sold Cotswold Village for $110.4 million. The Charlotte Business Journal reports Site Centers paid $37 million for the property in 2011.
The buyer, Asana Partners, promises to renovate the 21-acre shopping center. Renovations will include improvements to outdoor gathering areas and building facades.
Cotswold Village sits on 21 acres at Randolph and Sharon Amity Road. It’s 97.5% occupied by over 30 retailers. Harris Teeter anchors the 260,000-square-foot retail center.
Asana Partners’ assets include The Design Center of the Carolinas in South End and ground-floor retail spaces where Whole Foods is located in uptown Charlotte, as well as within the Ally Building.
Asana also owns additional properties in South End, Plaza Midwood, NoDa and uptown. Earlier this year, it purchased the historic Grinnell Water Works building at 1435 W. Morehead St. for $19.5 million in May.
