Coterra Energy Inks 122K-SF Office Lease for Houston HQ

Coterra Energy Inc. has signed a 122,000-square-foot lease for the firm’s office headquarters in Houston. The lease will be at Memorial City Plazas, a 1 million-square-foot office campus in Houston.

The three-building Memorial City Plazas is owned by MetroNational and is currently undergoing a $20 million renovation which is slated for completion in the fourth quarter of 2022. Coterra Energy is the product of an October 2021 merger between Houston-based Cabot Oil & Gas and Denver-based Cimarex Energy. The firm is primarily engaged in hydrocarbon exploration.

Brad MacDougall and Warren Alexander represented MetroNational in the lease transaction internally. Jim Bailey of Cushman & Wakefield and Lucian Bukowski of CBRE represented Coterra.
