Costco Buys Springfield Office Building for $7M

Finmarc Management, a commercial real estate investment and management firm, has sold 7375 Boston Boulevard, a two-story building in Springfield, Virginia, to Costco Wholesale for $6.55 million.

The building, with nearly 27,000 square feet of office space, is part of an 11-building portfolio acquired by Finmarc for $127.5 million from Boston Properties last year. The vacant building sits on a 2.81-acre parcel adjacent to an operating Costco Wholesale retail building.

The portfolio, known as the VA 95 portfolio, comprises single-story and two-story buildings ranging from 27,000 to 105,000 square feet. Geoffrey Mackler of H&R Retail and Daniel Venable of NWAP II, Inc. represented the buyer in this sales transaction.
