Costco Coming to Eastvale’s Goodman Commerce Center

Connect Inland Empire is planned for Wednesday, October 18th. Here’s where to register for the conference.

Costco plans to open a store that will anchor Goodman Commerce Center, a 205-acre development in Eastvale, CA. The retailer is taking 10 acres of a planned 40-acre retail component at the site.

The deal was ironed out after the city and Goodman, which is developing the project, agreed to a $4.5 million tax sales tax refund, which boosts infrastructure cost reimbursements from the $2.5 million originally approved. The developer asked for the increase to attract Costco. The new agreement was conditional upon a lease being signed by Sept. 30, and Costco and the store open by the end of 2018.

Goodman Commerce Center is located in northeast Eastvale and is planned to include a mix of commercial, retail, hotel, warehouse and business park space, as well as hospital and medical offices.
