CoStar to Move HQ to Arlington

CoStar Group will relocate its global headquarters to Central Place Tower in Arlington County, Va., from 1331 L St. NW in Washington, DC, in late 2024. The company will occupy 175,000 square feet, located at 1201 Wilson Boulevard, where they will employ 650 workers.

CoStar Group will pay Arlington County $13.9 million for exclusive use of the observation deck. This payment will prompt the county manager to ask that the county board approve CoStar’s land use applications and grant them sole access to the deck. Additionally, the county manager will propose allocating these funds to reconstruct Rosslyn’s Gateway Park as part of the upcoming Capital Improvement Plan.

“Virginia’s a great choice for a new corporate headquarters location, and we are excited that CoStar Group, a leading provider of online real estate marketplaces, information, and analytics in the property markets, sees the economic advantage in moving to the Commonwealth,” said Governor Glenn Youngkin.
