Cost Plus Lands at Brookfield’s Marina Village in Alameda

Cost Plus is expanding and relocating its headquarters to Brookfield Property Partners’ Marina Village office complex at 1201 Marina Village Parkway in Alameda.  The property, encompassing 107,000 square feet, represents one of the largest leases ever signed in the East Bay city.

As migration from San Francisco fills up Oakland space, it’s producing a “domino effect” into other East Bay cities. Previously, the home-goods retailer was located in 95,000 square feet at Oaklands Jack London Square.

CBRE’s Mike Keely, Grant Jones, Mark Kol and Cori English represented Brookfield in the transaction. Leamy Realty Group’s Robin Leamy and James Leahy  represented Cost Plus.
