Cort Gross Joins Chase Community Development Banking Team
Chase expanded its Community Development Banking team in San Francisco with the addition of Cort Gross. He will report to Cecile Chalifour, the bank’s West Division Manager, for the group that is within Commercial Banking.
Chase’s Alice Carr says, “There’s work to be done to bridge the affordable housing gap throughout California, and Cort’s extensive experience and deep understanding of the market will help the team support the revitalization of Northern California neighborhoods in need.”
Gross brings more than 25 years of community development financing experience and joins from Self-Help Federal Credit Union, where he originated loans for a variety of community development projects. Previously, he founded a consulting firm specializing in community development, U.S. Dept. of HUD FHA financing and community asset building, as well as New Markets Tax Credit and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit financing.
