Corrigan OSB to Establish New Production Facility in Polk County
Corrigan OSB LLC will establish a new production facility in Polk County. The project will create 50 new jobs and $211 million in capital investment. A Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) grant of $278,000 has been extended to Corrigan OSB, which includes a $3,000 veteran-created job bonus.
“Made in Texas is a powerful brand, and this new building products facility in East Texas is the latest example of the resurgence of the Lone Star State’s mighty economy,” said Gov. Greg Abbott. “Texas leads the nation as the best place to live, work, raise a family and build a home. I thank Corrigan OSB for their expanded investment in Texas to meet the increasing demand for building materials and for creating even more jobs for hardworking Texans.”
Corrigan OSB is the wholly owned Texas subsidiary of Martco LLC (also known as RoyOMartin), a wood-products manufacturing and timber-management company headquartered in Alexandria, LA.
“The first plant (Corrigan) opened in 2018 created 170 jobs and had a substantial economic impact,” says Senator Robert Nichols. “This additional investment would create even more well-paying jobs and further boost the local economy.”
