Corpus Christi Net-Lease Government Building Sells to Midwest Buyer
A single-tenant, net-lease office building, holding the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services, sold to a Midwest buyer for $4 million. The seller, a Texas developer, disposed of the 51,307-square-foot building, at 4201 Greenwood Dr. in Corpus Christi, TX, with a group of individuals headquartered in the Midwest buying it in an off-market transaction.
Brian Corriston with Stan Johnson Co. represented the buyer, and procured the seller. “The biggest challenge we faced was to procure a highly-qualified and capable investor to acquire the asset due to the short lease term remaining,” Corriston said. Less than one year remains on the lease.
