Cornish, Nordblom, Boston Andes Open Providence Apartment Community

A development team that consists of Cornish Associates, developer Nordblom Co. and Boston Andes Capital LLC has opened Nightingale Apartments, a $54 million multifamily community located in downtown Providence, R.I.

The 143-unit community consists of studio, one- and two-bedroom floorplans ranging in size from 500 to 1,200 square feet. Additionally, the community features 11,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Amenities include a fitness center, coworking space, elevated courtyard and resident lounge.

In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the community has implemented a number of safety precautions, including hand sanitizer in the lobby and amenity spaces, protective masks and gloves for all staff, contact-free package room and soft barriers created for front desks as well as amenitity spaces arranged to promote social distancing.
