Cooper Carry Taps Kyle Reis as CEO in Atlanta
Atlanta-based design firm Cooper Carry has announced the election of Kyle Reis as President and CEO.
Reis, 38, earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame in 2006 and his MBA with a concentration in real estate from Georgia State University in 2013. After graduating from college in 2006, he moved to Atlanta to take a job at Cooper Carry as a junior urban planner. He rose through the ranks and most recently served as Principal and Director of Planning at Cooper Carry.
Under Reis’ leadership, Cooper Carry has adopted a new five-year strategic plan. The plan focuses on three main areas: creative capital, agility and growth. Creative capital represents investment in its people. Cooper Carry is doubling down on training, design innovation and diversity to continue growing the firm’s talent pool and value to its clients.
“The wisdom, advice, and lessons shared by these two icons of our industry are invaluable resources for me as we go through this time of leadership transition,” said Reis. “Our firm has always put its people first. It is evident every time I speak with Jerry or Kevin, who seem to remember the names and stories of every person who ever worked here.”
