Converted Warehouse in Hodgkins Will Contain Two Manufacturing Tenants

Brown Commercial Group partner Mike Antonelli represented Pioneer Service, Inc. and M&M Quality Grinding, Inc. in leasing a total of 131,605 square feet of space in Chicagoland’s I-55 industrial real estate submarket. The transaction will allow the companies to move into 61,355 square feet and 70,250 square feet, respectively, at 7335 Santa Fe Dr. in Hodgkins, IL.

“After an extensive evaluation of industrial space in the Chicago market, we identified a facility that will help the companies improve efficiencies, increase their manufacturing capabilities and remain in proximity to their employees and customers,” said Antonelli. “Despite a shortage of industrial space in the market, we were able to secure a well-located facility that is being retrofitted to fit the companies’ long-term needs.”

The former distribution building will be renovated and converted into a fully operational manufacturing facility with individual spaces for the two businesses.
