Convergent Capital Partners Renovating Class A Office, Taps CBRE to Handle Leasing

CBRE has been retained as leasing agent for a 160,000-square-foot Class A office building at 1901 Ulmerton Road in Clearwater, FL. Convergent Capital Partners recently purchased the property from Mercury Insurance Company, represented by Kennedy Wilson Brokerage.

KC Tenukas, Kristin Kenney, and Nick Baldwin with CBRE will be marketing the eight-story building for lease on behalf of Convergent Capital Partners. Approximately 100,000 square feet is available, with spaces ranging from 1,200 to 60,000 contiguous square feet.

“Convergent Capital Partners acquired this property at a time when the surrounding area is undergoing revitalization efforts. Their plan to invest significant capital will help rejuvenate the property to attract new tenants, such as healthcare, financial services, law firms, and engineering firms looking for new headquarters space with views of both downtown Tampa and St. Petersburg,” Tenukas, CBRE senior vice president.

Planned improvements for common areas include an updated lobby, café, conference room, and fitness center.
