Convene Maps Out Post-Pandemic Operations

Flexible-office and meeting-space provider Convene provided details on how it plans to meet user needs in the post-pandemic environment. The company’s operational changes include lower-density workspaces, using meeting spaces as work lounges, one-directional pathways, pre-boxed lunches and snacks, access to personal protective equipment, and hybrid workforces.

Convene has also collaborated with longtime partner Eden Health to introduce new health and wellness policies, individual care benefits, telemedicine, and daily temperature checks.

Additionally, Convene is reconfiguring its suites and allowing only 50-55% of people in at a time.  Desks that normally seat six will now seat three per day, with every other desk empty.

No two employees will be seated next to each other, nor across from one another.  And, there will be a designated desk and chair for each employee, so that employees working on different days won’t share a chair with an employee who isn’t present that day.
