Convene, Brookfield Partner for Flex Office Provider’s Biggest Space Yet

Flexible office provider Convene has signed a lease for its largest space to date. The 93,096-square-foot space at Brookfield Properties’ One Liberty Plaza in Lower Manhattan will be Convene’s 15th location in New York, and fourth with Brookfield.

“One Liberty Plaza has seen robust leasing activity, recently adding Aon, Business Insider and New Avon to its notable tenant roster,” said Mikael Nahmias, SVP of office leasing with Brookfield. “Adding Convene will provide a valuable amenity to all of our building tenants and the surrounding Lower Manhattan business community.”

Convene will operate on One Liberty’s ground floor level as a public café and coffee shop. The building’s mezzanine and second floors, 12,339 and 28,708 square feet respectively, will be reserved as full-service meeting and event space, while the 44,751-square-foot third floor will feature flexible office space. An opening date of first-quarter 2019 is expected for the One Liberty Convene space.
