Continental building $69M tire factory in Fort Worth

Continental Tire Starts Work on $69M FW Distribution Center

Continental Tire has started construction on a $69 million Fort Worth distribution center. Operations are scheduled to start in 2026. The The 752,000-square-foot build-to-suit building will include 7,500 square feet of support offices. It will have a capacity to store more than 800,000 tires. Hillwood is building it. Dallas-based GSR Andrade Architects is the architect for the project. Designed for future expansion, the new distribution center will include advanced automation technology and sustainability features, such as solar panels. 

Continental Tires, based in Germany, employs more than 190,000 people in 61 countries and 554 locations. The U.S. headquarters of Continental Tire the Americas LLC is in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The number of jobs expected to be based at the facility was not disclosed. The company serves the U.S. market through seven distribution centers.

The company’s American operations base is in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
