Construction Veteran Takes Newly-Created Role at L&L

L&L Holding Company appointed Jamil Lacourt as EVP and director of construction, effective June 1.  Lacourt comes to L&L with more than 20 years’ real estate, construction, and project management experience spanning a wide variety of project types.

In this newly-created role, Lacourt will manage L&L’s construction group and will also be responsible for establishing uniform practices for reporting, bidding and budgeting, coordinating contractor and subcontractor relationships, and executing construction efforts.

Prior to joining L&L, Lacourt served as principal and director of project management for OC Development Management. In this position, he oversaw L&L’s repositioning and expansion of 150 Fifth Ave.

The appointment of Lacourt comes during the most active period of development in L&L’s 20-year history. The firm recently received approval to move forward with a reinvention of Terminal Warehouse, a massive, block-long West Chelsea storage facility.
