Weingarten Realty has completed dirt work on, and has begun to build, a 25-acre retail component for the Stevens Ranch master-planned community in San Antonio. The 2,400-acre MPC is in the west part of the metro, situated at SH 211 and Potranco Road. Close to 95 acres remain for retail development and leasing.
The retail development will include a 20,000-square-foot shell, five one-acre pad sites and one 18.3-acre pad site. Delivery is scheduled for fall 2018. Supercuts, Quarry Nails and Smilepoint Dental Group pre-leased space in the center.
Stevens Ranch is near a new employment hub based around the City Bank Campus, Texas Research Park, Microsoft’s 160-acre center and a technology and research company incubator campus. Projected growth within a one-mile radius from 2017-2022 is 40.1%.
