Construction Underway on Redlands Commerce Center

Construction continues on the 1.1-million-square-foot Redlands Commerce Center on Lugonia and Bryn Mawr avenues. Two buildings are being built by Hillwood Investment Properties on vacant land in the area near the Donut Hole, an island of San Bernardino County land surrounded by Redlands.

Redlands Mayor Paul Foster says he’s confident that the area will become the new logistics center for his city, and not expand to any other portion of town. The Donut Hole area is also seeing additional projects underway, as Prologis currently has three distribution facilities being built, ranging from 420,000 to 777,000 square feet.

Redlands also recently welcomed Amazon to town. Amazon opened a distribution center at California Street and San Bernardino Avenue, bringing about 2,000 jobs to the city.
