Nexus Development Corp. has started work on a 20-story, 193-unit, luxury senior living tower in Uptown Dallas.  

Located at 2505 Turtle Creek Blvd., Vivante at Turtle Creek will feature 164 assisted living units, 29 memory care units and two levels of underground parking. Construction on the development is slated to be completed in late 2027. Nexus nabbed a $180 million construction loan from Beal Bank. The project is expected to cost $270 million.

The assisted living units will span 1,000 to 3,000 square feet and include balconies and full kitchens. The memory care units are designed for residents with dementia and will be located within a secure care community within the tower called the Shores. Overall, Vivante will also feature a beauty salon, movie theater, library, yoga and Pilates studio and chauffeured Mercedes transportation.  

HKS Inc. is the project design firm, and Andres Construction is the general contractor.
