High Street Residential and Principal Real State Investors have broken ground on the 353-unit Crestview Commons, a transit-oriented apartment complex adjacent to Austin’s Crestview MetroRail station. Pre-leasing is scheduled to begin in January 2018. Construction is anticipated for completion by the second half of 2018.

The four-story complex is being built at North Lamar Street and Sugaree Avenue. Apartment units will range from 642 to 1,405 square feet. On-site amenities will include a resident lounge, entertaining kitchen, fitness center and three courtyards (one of which will include an outdoor pool). Also included is a 7,000-square-foot dog park.
