Construction Underway on Airport Office/Hangar Combo

Caliente Construction broke ground on a combination office/hangar building at the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. The general contractor is developing the $9-million project on behalf of Aviation Performance Solutions.

Once complete, the development will offer approximately 10,000 square feet of office and training space on two levels, and 14,000 square feet of hangar space. Through the new facility, Aviation Performance Solutions will train airline pilots how to handle in-flight loss of control. The facility will also serve as APS’ headquarters.

APS and Caliente are planning a second development on the property, consisting of 4,000 square feet of office space and a 35,000-square-foot hangar. This facility will be available for lease. Project completion on both buildings is anticipated for January 2021.
