Construction Underway on 289K-SF Development in Somerville

Developers DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners and Leggat McCall have started construction on a 289,000-square-foot, nine-story laboratory building in Somerville’s Boynton Yards development.

Located at 101 South St., the project will be the largest lab development in Somerville. The spec building is expected to be ready for tenants by summer 2021.

The building was designed by Spagnolo Gisness & Associates and Hashim Sarkis Studios. Shawmut Design and Construction is building it. A team from Cushman & Wakefield has been tapped to lease the property.
