Construction to Get Underway Next Year on Inn & Spa at Rocky Pond

Next summer, GenCap Construction Corp. will begin work on its newest project in Washington State, the Inn and Spa at Rocky Pond. Construction completion is anticipated in spring 2024.

Located along the shoreline of the Columbia River in Orondo, the property will feature 115,000 square feet of amenities including a two-story hotel, casita guest cottage rooms, spa and wellness center, conference center, fine dining and multiple amenities including infinity pools, water features, tasting rooms and a waterfront activities center.

Current project team members include SKB Architects, GCH Landscape Architects, Pacific Engineering (civil engineer), Columbia Hospitality Group (operator) and OAC Services (owner’s representative).

As the construction start nears, GenCap will expand its project team to include several new construction management, superintendent and craft labor role positions. GenCap also plans to open a new satellite office in the Wenatchee Valley area to further support the company’s growth in Central Washington, and commit a dedicated and local business presence for the project and to the region’s subcontractors and trades.
