Construction Starts Soon on New Campbell Office Building

There hasn’t been a new office building built in Campbell for years, but Carlyle Group and South Bay Development Co. are about to change that. Groundbreaking takes place soon on Creekside @ 17, a five-story structure spanning 17,500 square feet.

In the third quarter, Campbell’s office-market vacancy rate was at 8.6 percent. South Bay Development, a typically conservative developer, is pushing for ground-up rather than value-add renovations. Both of these facts signify the healthy market in the West Valley.
