Construction Starts Soon on Eugene Student Housing Project

National real estate development and investment firm, CRG and partner Kenter Capital have secured the land and construction financing for Chapter at Eugene, a 12-story student housing project near the University of Oregon in Eugene, OR. Construction is slated to begin this month on the 302-bed community, with delivery expected by Fall of 2024.

“Chapter at Eugene will bring highly sought-after near-campus housing, complete with market-leading amenities and neighborhood-serving retail, to one of the top public universities in the country,” said CRG’s J.J. Smith. “This residential offering adds to our growing pipeline of student housing focused on areas that have seen tremendous growth in enrollment.”

Located at 754 E. 13th Ave. the facility will offer a mix of studio, one-, two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom apartments featuring upscale finishes, smart TV’s and in-unit laundry. Community amenities include a rooftop recreation deck, fitness center and several study areas.

The building is designed by Jackson Main Architecture, John Hyland Construction is the general contractor and Byline Bank provided the construction loan.
