Construction to Start on $200M Griffin Farms

Unicorp National Developments Inc. is readying its shovels to break ground on Griffin Farms at Midtown, a $200 million, mixed-use development that will offer a specialty grocer, shops, restaurants and residences to Lake Mary, FL. Unicorp and David Weekley Homes will host an Oct. 20 groundbreaking at Lake Mary Boulevard and Longwood Lake Mary Road.

The project will feature 150,000 square feet of retail (Griffin Farms Town Center), 260 rental units, and Griffin Park, a gated residential community offering 138 single-family homes and townhouses. Roger B. Kennedy Inc. is the Town Center general contractor, Antunovich Associates is the shopping center architect, and Maitland-based Slocum Platts Architects PA is designing the apartments.
