Construction Soon at 300-Acre International Business Park
Billingsley Co. will be adding four new buildings to its 300-acre International Business Park, located in Plano, TX. The development, which is Billingsley’s oldest office development, dates back to the 1990s, and is near the Dallas North Tollway and President George Bush Turnkpike.
Lucy Billingsley told the Dallas Morning News that construction would begin on the first building in May 2018. The 178,000-square-foot structure is being designed by architect GFF.
International Business Park has more than 1.4 million square feet of office space, which is approximately 90% occupied. Billingsley said she is planning to rent the new space for less than $25 per square foot, which is below the $30-per-square-foot average that space is going for in nearby Legacy.
“We don’t need to be where they are because of our land costs,” she said. “International Business Park has continued to be a great project.”
