Construction Planned for Creative Office Building in LA’s Arts District
A brand new, 350,000-square-foot speculative creative office project is planned for construction in Los Angeles’s Arts District starting in mid 2023. Owned and entitled by Legendary Group, Above will be a 17-story Class A project consisting of 12 floors of office space and a ground floor production and retail space.
Cushman & Wakefield’s team of Mike Condon, Brittany Winn, McKenna Gaskell, Pete Collins and Scott Menkus have been retained to lead leasing efforts for the property. “New developments such as Above look to be the next wave of modern high-rise projects, propelling the Arts District beyond a mom and pop, adaptive reuse market into what should be the top tenant attracting market in LA,” said Condon in a news release.
Above will feature private outdoor patios on every floor, floor to ceiling glass, 360-degree views and is strategically positioned in the Arts District, a neighborhood continuing its transformation into a live/work/play community through an influx of fashion, media and tech tenants.
