Construction Begins on Parker Products Facility

Parker Products broke ground on a new, 90,000-square-foot facility in Fort Worth. Parker, which provides specialty ingredients and flavor systems to the baking, dairy, beverage and snack industries, will move all operations to its new location at 3001 Strawn Dr. in early 2018.

The company has been in Fort Worth since its launch in the mid-1920s. The current plant at 2737 Tillar St. is more than 60 years old, “so there were multiple drivers behind building a new facility,” said Greg Hodder, president of Parker Products. The additional space will accommodate future growth, he added. The company’s corporate office is currently at 3020 S. Lancaster Ave.

Emergent Technologies is the general contractor and Elements of Architecture is the architect. Also involved in the development are the HWH Group and Todd Hubbard with NAI Real Estate.
