Ridgeline Development Partners (RDP) and Deep Cove Partners (DCP) broke ground on The Bend at Capitol District. The project will be a mixed-use, phase-two expansion of its TownePlace Suites at North Capitol project, which was completed in 2020. The Bend is slated to be completed in early 2027.

The Bend will add 550,000 square feet to North Capitol featuring a hotel, for-rent apartments, executive stay accommodations, and retail. The project is located near the Tennessee State Capitol and Metro Courthouse. 

S9 Architecture is the project’s Design Architect, and Smith Gee Studio is the Architect of Record. Skanska USA, as general contractor, will now begin full construction on The Bend. JLL’s Miller Fitts and Gary Shanks are handling leasing.

The project will include:

• An 8-story, 188-key new Moxy Capitol District.
• A 10-story residential building, which includes:
  • The Delle at The Bend consists of 128 fully furnished apartment-style accommodations, offering executive stay units.
  • The Residences at The Bend comprises 133 for-rent residences.
• 17,000 square feet of dynamic retail space all within an interconnected paseo.
