Construction of Long-Awaited Legacy West Tower Underway
It’s been in the planning stages for years, but it’s now becoming a reality. Global tax services firm, Ryan LLC, is finally going vertical on the project and will make it its headquarters. Ryan’s Robert Wertz is looking forward to it, “The office space and immediate surrounding area offer unparelleled amenities that will provide a superb experience for our employees.”
The 420,000 square foot building will cost about $120 million to build.
Ryan bought the six-acre parcel at the corner of Windrose Avenue and SH 121 in Plano in 2017. The space was one of the last vacant tracts in the $3 billion Legacy West mixed-use development.
The 24-story tower will feature amenities such as a fitness center, tenant lounge and cafe. Located in the middle of Legacy West, it’s close to dozens of retailers and restaurants. Designed by Gensler, the tower is expected to be complete mid-2024. The Ryan Companies (not affiliated with Ryan LLC) is the builder.
