Construction Loan Obtained for the Containery

A developer obtained financing for adaptive re-use of a warehouse at Fourth Street and Jackson Avenue in downtown Waco, TX. Bill Wetterman is redeveloping the existing 24,750 square feet into a mixed-use asset dubbed the Containery, and received a $4.3 million construction loan through TFNB Bank in McGregor, TX. Brandon Wilhite with Dallas-based Metropolitan Capital Advisors Ltd. arranged for the financing.

Upon completion, the Containery at 319 S. Fourth St. will have space for local food and drink merchants, as well as boutique retail and offices. The project is, in part, being built out of shipping containers. According to local media, retail space is available for a monthly asking price of $31.86-$48.75 per square foot.
