Construction Launches on Fountainwood at Lake Houston

MedCore Partners and TNRG began construction of the 190-unit senior living community, Fountainwood at Lake Houston. The development, situated on seven acres in northeast Houston, will provide 98 independent living, 68 assisted living and 24 memory care apartments. The 200,000-square-foot project is at West Lake Houston and Will Clayton Parkways, and is scheduled for completion in late summer 2020.

Integral Senior Living will manage Fountainwood. Programs and services will include valet services, fine dining, bistro, bar and entertainment areas, salon and spa, multiple activities venues, a state-of-the-art fitness center, club rooms, theater, meditation garden, and interconnected courtyard pool with al fresco dining.

The senior-living project is the second for partners TNRG and MedCore; the duo opened the 80-unit Spring Cypress Assisted Living and Memory Care facility in Cypress, TX in June, 2018. The second phase of Spring Cypress is in design, and will add an additional 138 independent living units to the campus.
